Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Scholarships
The Australian Association of Social Workers is delighted to announce that four Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander scholarships are available for the upcoming 2026 Social Work Congress, to be held in the Gold Coast from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 November 2026.
Scholarship Inclusions
The four delegate registrations will be available. Successful applicants can choose between full or day attendance. Each registration includes:
- Full Congress attendance
- Access to all Keynote and Concurrent Sessions
- Certificate of Attendance
- CPD Hours available
- Access to Exhibition Hall
- One ticket to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday 20 November 2026
Criteria for Applying
- You identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
- You have been a member of the AASW for at least 12 months prior to your application.
- You have completed and submitted the application form by Friday 24 April 2026.
Applications close on Friday 24 April 2026 and you will be notified of the outcome by the 8th of May 2026.
Awarding of scholarship will be made by a subcommittee of the AASW and all outcomes will be final. No feedback on applications will be provided.
